About Us

Reza Farokhian is a mechanical engineer and a licensed massage therapist who works for Mercy, the city’s second-largest hospital system. His role involves assessing patients' needs and performing therapeutic massages to help them achieve their health goals. Reza collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, and trains newly hired massage therapists. Additionally, he has established a massage therapy office at Mercy's Center for Performance Medicine and provides exclusive massage therapy sessions to resident surgeons, helping them relax and perform at their best.

As a therapist, Reza has gained firsthand insight into the inefficiencies in the field, which has fueled his commitment to innovative product development. This dedication led to the creation of Normotonic, a company he founded in June 2022, starting with a single product—the Bottle Warming Holster—and gradually expanding its product portfolio.

Reza currently resides with his wife, Maggie Marie Holter, a native of St. Louis and the Senior Director of Philanthropy at the Gateway Regional YMCA, as well as their adorable chihuahua, Kingston.
