Founder & President
Reza Farokhian is a mechanical engineer and a licensed massage therapist. He works for Mercy, the city's second-largest hospital system. Reza's work involves assessing patients' needs and performing therapeutic massages to help them achieve their health goals. He also coordinates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, trains newly hired massage therapists, and performs administrative work. In addition, Reza has created an office of massage therapy at Mercy's Center for Performance Medicine and also offers exclusive massage therapy sessions to resident surgeons to help them relax and perform at their best.
Reza currently resides with his wife Maggie Marie Holter, a native St. Louisan and Senior Director of Philanthropy at the Gateway Regional YMCA, and their adorable chihuahua, Kingston.
Vice President
Cynthia Sumner Holter, Marketing and Business Development Vice President for Normotonic is a seasoned professional with four decades of experience in strategic leadership at several non-profits. Cynthia served as the Senior Vice President of External Relations at the Saint Louis Zoo from 1989 to 2022, overseeing development, marketing, public relations, events, membership, promotions, creative services, and public affairs, leading a staff of 50 and a $6 million budget. During her tenure, Cynthia directed efforts to help raise $484 million in philanthropic support for the Saint Louis Zoo.
Prior to that, Cynthia worked as a major gifts fundraiser for the School of Forestry, Fisheries, and Wildlife, now the School of Natural Resources, at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her first position was in marketing for Missouri's Department of Economic Development, working closely with then-Governor Kit Bond, elected officials, and lobbyists.
Cynthia's expertise, recognized with awards from Columbia College, her alma mater, as well as the Association of Fundraising Professionals, continues to make a lasting impact in the philanthropic and community sectors.
